What makes us different?
This isn't the easiest question to answer but I think telling this story will help.
A mom reached out to us explaining that her daughter was moving from Colorado into a family cabin in Southern Indiana, which had been vacant for 3 years. Although the property was beautiful, it was in need of special care before their sweet 3 month old granddaughter was due to move in. This cabin needed a clean beyond your normal move in service. They wanted each and every pine board from floor to ceiling wiped by hand to remove the years of collected dust and cobwebs - and we were up for the task.
Before starting the project we researched extensively to find both the proper products and specific cleaning methods that would be both effective and safe to use. In one week, our team spent over 50 hours up and down scaffolding, climbing ladders, and scrubbing on their hands and knees to get the job done to the highest standard. Welcoming this family back into their home was a touching moment. A mom walked into the home her grandchildren would grow up in. A grandson walked in and saw the fireplace his grandfather gathered the materials for and built by hand. A young mom was able to focus on settling their family into the home they've been dreaming of for years.

After spending a decade in full time ministry, I felt a nudge to launch a cleaning business. It seemed strange at first, but I began to consider my work history: housekeeping services, hospitality front desk, cleaning commercial properties, and both administration and leadership skills.. It might just work.
In the fall of 2024 I began putting together a business plan for TCS with the help of other business professionals and professors of IUS. We didn't see immediate results, but we did have small growth early in 2025. By April of that year, I was cleaning full time for my own company - Tailored Cleaning Services. It was surreal to be living something that was once just a Google Doc and a dream.
